Biography:
David B. Foutch began his legal career with Rochelle, McCulloch
& Aulds in 1989, became a partner in 1993, and was an original
member of Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, P.L.L.C. He
received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Virginia. After serving in the Navy, David attended the
University of Tennessee where he earned a Master of Business
Administration with a concentration in Finance. David worked
in the banking industry for eleven years. While in banking,
he attended the Nashville School of Law, receiving his Doctor of
Jurisprudence in1989. David was selected as a member of the
Cooper’s Inn Society, received the Founders’ Award
and the Moot Court Award. Most recently, David received an
LL. M. in Taxation, Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama School of
Law. Other educational programs include completion of the
Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt, the Graduate School of
Banking of the South at Louisiana State University and the Southern
Trust School.
David’s practice began principally in, and still includes,
real property and commercial transactions. It has grown to a
concentration today in all levels of estate planning (wills, revocable
living trusts, testamentary and inter vivos irrevocable trusts, general
powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, advance directives
and living wills); probate matters, both estates and conservatorships;
elder law; business organization/formation (partnerships,
corporations, and limited liability companies); and contract
law.
David is a member of the Fifteenth
Judicial District Bar Association (Past President). Tennessee Bar
Association, and the American Bar Association. A member of
the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, he has held every local office and served as
Lieutenant Governor of Division II of the Kentucky-Tennessee District
of Kiwanis. A Past President, David has been a member of the
Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce since 1997. Other
favorite activities include the family farm, reading and attending
sporting events. David and his wife, Ann E. (Betsy) Sellars,
are members of the First Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, have three
children and one grandchild.
