Biography:
Jere McCulloch is a founding member and the Managing member of
Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, LLC.
A native of Wilson County, Jere received his undergraduate degree from
Tennessee Technological University in 1969 and his J.D. from the
University of Tennessee in 1972.
Jere was admitted to the Bar of the State of Tennessee in 1973 and has
practiced law in Lebanon since that time.
He was the founding partner of the firm of McCulloch & Aulds in
1982 and a founding member of its successor, Rochelle, McCulloch
& Aulds, PLLC. He has served as the managing member
of the firm since its inception.
Professionally, Jere is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the
Lebanon/ Wilson County Bar Association, where he has twice been
President, and is a Founding Member of Tennessee Association
of Construction Counsel. Jere is also a Fellow of
Tennessee Bar Foundation. He has also served on civic boards
such as a former Board Member and President of the Lebanon Wilson
County Chamber of Commerce, former Board Member of Mt. Juliet West
Wilson Chamber of Commerce and Board member of Prospect, Inc. , an
institution providing employment opportunities for handicapped persons.
In addition to the practice of law, Jere is the Chairman of the Board
and former Chief Executive Officer of Mountain States Contractors, LLC,
a heavy highway, bridge and paving construction company with state wide
operations in Tennessee.
Beginning with a general practice of law in 1973, Jere has practiced in
many areas over the length of his practice. Presently the
bulk of his practice involves land use and zoning matters, condemnation
and eminent domain, construction related corporate and litigation
matters and general business matters. He also has experience
in representing utility providers and presently represents
……….. Jere has tried to a
jury verdict a number of condemnation cases including a jury verdict
of $690,000 and has settled a condemnation case for more than
$1,000,000. He also was fortunate to represent the Nashville
Superspeedway in the zoning and governmental approvals necessary for
the establishment of the Nashville Superspeedway.
Jere has been recognized by the
publication “Best Lawyers in America” in the area
of eminent domain and condemnation and has been honored with an AV
rating by Martindale Hubbell.
