Biography:
Price Thompson was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1971 and moved to
Hartsville, Tennessee in 1974. He graduated from Trousdale
County High School in 1989 as valedictorian and received his B.A. in
Politics from Wake Forest University in 1993. After a
four-year stint working on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, Price
returned to Tennessee in 1997 to attend Vanderbilt University School of
Law.
While at law school, Price served as an associate editor of the
Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law & Practice.
He also served as a research assistant to Professor David Partlett, and
performed research and writing for the Tenth Edition of the Prosser,
Wade & Schwartz Torts casebook co-authored by Dr.
Partlett. Price graduated from Vanderbilt University School
of Law in 2000 and was admitted to the Tennessee bar that October.
Upon graduating law school, Price served two years as law clerk to
Magistrate Judge, E. Clifton Knowles of the U.S. District Court, Middle
District of Tennessee. He was an associate at a law firm in
Nashville, Tennessee for five years before joining Rochelle, McCulloch
& Aulds, PLLC as an associate in 2007. Price was
elected a partner by the firm in 2009. He lives in Lebanon
with his wife, Sarah.
Price is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Middle
District of Tennessee and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth
Circuit. In 2007, he was awarded a BV Peer Review Rating by
LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, which identifies a lawyer with high to
very high legal ability. He was also selected by Super
Lawyers as a 2010 Mid-South Rising Star, recognizing outstanding young
lawyers in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
