Gill
Biography
​
Gregory S. Gill began his career with Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC as a summer law clerk in 1993. Greg joined the firm as an associate upon his graduation from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in 1995, and became a member of the firm in 2005. Greg�s practice focuses on commercial transactions, representing lenders, buyers and sellers in both real estate and asset-based transactions; residential real estate; civil litigation involving contracts, construction, or real estate; and collections.

Born in Nashville in 1969, Greg was raised in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. An Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 150, Greg graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1988, where he was president of the National Honor Society and graduated in the Top Ten Percent of his graduating class. After high school, Greg attended Memphis State University on an academic scholarship, earning his B.A. in Communications (Journalism) in 1992. While at Memphis State, Greg served on the staff of The Daily Helmsman, the student-run daily newspaper, starting as a Staff Reporter, and subsequently holding the positions of Managing Editor, Editor-in-Chief, and Senior Reporter. Greg graduated magna cum laude and was named Outstanding Graduate of Journalism Department.

Following a brief stint as a reporter with the Shelby SunTimes in Germantown, Tennessee, Greg enrolled in the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, graduating in the top third of his class in 1995.
Greg is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the 15th Judicial District Bar Association. Greg is married to Tracey Shively Gill, and they have two daughters, Evan Grace and Avery Charlotte.
Greg's hobbies include reading, cooking and spending time outdoors with his family. Greg previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, and as a Commissioner of the Kiwanis Little League. Greg has finished the Music City Marathon three times. An avid basketball fan and recreational player, Greg and fellow RMA member Alan Poindexter served as coaches for the 7th & 8th Grade girls basketball team at Holy Rosary Academy in Donelson Tennessee, winning one league championship and playing for the championship two other times.
