Biography
​
Jake's practice focuses on commercial transactions and litigation, and he provides guidance throughout all stages of commercial litigation matters, including mediation. He forms business entities, drafts contracts and reviews and advises clients regarding contract legal documents and and obligations. Jake often serves as his business clients’ outside general counsel by providing critical advice on day-to-day issues, as well as transactional support and other legal services, on an as-needed basis. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Georgia, and Kentucky. He is also a Rule 31 Listed Mediator.
After graduating in the top of his class from the University of Tennessee College of Law, Jake served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey M. Atherton and the Honorable Pamela A. Fleenor of the Hamilton County Chancery Court in Chattanooga. Thereafter, Jake worked as an attorney for a well-respected Chattanooga law firm before moving to his wife's hometown of Lebanon.
Prior to joining Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC, Jake practiced law in Nashville for one of the nation's top 200 largest law firms, where he represented a wide range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to major national corporations. Jake joined Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC in order to work closer to/with his clients, family, and the community of Lebanon, which he has called home since 2018.

Jake grew up in nearby McMinnville, Tennessee. He is an avid Tennessee Volunteers football fan, and enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and woodworking in his spare time. Jake was a member of Leadership Wilson Class of 2021 and currently serves on its board of directors. Jake and his wife, Emily, attend church here in Wilson County, and have two children.
