Biography
​
Jason was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on March 9, 1976. He was admitted to the bar in Tennessee in 2013. Jason received his post high school education from University of Mississippi at Oxford (B.A., 1998) and Nashville School of Law (J.D., 2003). Jason is an elected board member of the Tennessee Association for Justice and a member of the 15th Judicial District Bar Association. He focuses his practice upon Personal Injury, Wrongful Death Cases, Child Injury Cases, Automobile Wrecks and Collisions, Tractor Trailer Truck Collisions, Defective Products, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, Elder Neglect and Abuse Cases and Negligence/Tort Litigation.

Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Jason was a Legal Specialist and Fraud Investigator for Medicare for six (6) years. His duties included civil and criminal investigation of healthcare providers committing Medicare fraud and abuse. Jason has lectured at Medicare provider and federal law enforcement seminars across the nation and worked with federal and state agencies such as the FBI, Office of Inspector General, the TBI, and the United States District Attorneys’ Office in developing fraud and abuse cases for civil and criminal prosecution.

In his courtroom experience, Jason has obtained substantial workers’ compensation awards for injured workers in Middle Tennessee including but not limited to Wilson, Sumner, Davidson, Bedford, Franklin, Coffee, Rutherford, Trousdale, Macon, Smith, Jackson, Putnam, and Williamson Counties. He has a proven record of obtaining jury verdicts in personal injury and auto collision cases and has negotiated significant settlements for clients in Middle Tennessee in healthcare liability/medical malpractice cases, nursing home neglect and abuse cases. Over the past 16 years, Jason has been successful in litigating wrongful death, child injury cases, failed and defective products cases, Medicare fraud cases, medical malpractice, tractor trailer and trucking collision and premises liability cases. He has successfully obtained Social Security Disability benefits for hundreds of Tennesseans who are disabled and are unable to work. Jason is Regional Representative of the Board of Governors for the Tennessee Association of Justice (TAJ), the former co-founder/co-chair of the TAJ Workers’ Compensation Litigation Group, and Board Member & Legal Counsel for Christmas 4 Kids (Non-Profit Charity Corporation).

Jason is a resident of Lebanon, Tennessee, the proud husband to Rachel and father to four children. Jason and his family are active members of Berea Church of Christ since 1999 where he has served as a church attorney, trustee, deacon, and elder.
